So... Origin and Battlefield 01/02/2012
Yea, it's not great. Installed on my laptop for BF3. Works as intended, but it's copying too much directly from steam. Especially the in game overlay, the only differences there are that it doesn't pause your game when you open it and you can't use it to take screenshots. So, overall, I give it a meh. Battlefield 3... Battlefield 3... I had fun with the Bad Company 2 campaign, it was diverse, unique to an extent, and threw in more than one curveball, even if the story was a huge pile of what. I didn't play the multiplayer, I assumed that everyone had already left it for the latest installment, which was fine by me. I never buy games just for the MP, and even if I do end up playing online a lot, I usually finish the campaign first. This is not the case with Battlefield 3. I have yet to finish the campaign, and I don't think I will. It's just too generic. There's no variation except for the vehicle sections, which are just glorified rail shooters, the graphics are unimpressive, and don't even get me started on the story. NUKES NUKES NUKES NUKES that's all I really got from it, oh and the Dima sections where I had to read the subtitles and try not to die were just WONDERFUN. Multiplayer, as I said earlier, is really wonderfun. I love it. Squad based combat with a couple of friends on Metro or Firestorm is the best online I have played in ages. Dice did something right with this one. And that's all I have. WONDERFUN is new word. CommentsLeave a Reply |
